The California Avocado Society is hosting a “Exploring Avocado Growing in the Central Valley” seminar on March 12 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The in-person learning session will take place at the Lindcove Research and Extension Center located at 22963 Carson Avenue in Exeter, CA.
Featured speakers include:
- Dr. Tapan Pathak — Climate trends in South Joaquin Valley
- Dr. Inaki Hormaza — Flowering and pollination avocado
- Dr. Ben Faber — Irrigation and use of berms in avocado
- Dr. Arnon Dag — Overhead cooling in avocado
- Dr. Mary Lu Arpaia — Dry matter and harvest dates
The fee to attend is $25 and includes a lunch. Online registration is now available and should be completed by March 9.
