The Ventura County Agri-Tech Fair will take place on September 23 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott Oxnard Ventura located at 600 East Esplanade Drive, Oxnard, CA. The event is free, but registrations are required. Registration is now available online.

Each of the events provided the Commission with an opportunity to meet with foodservice marketers, culinary and purchasing professionals.

The Fourth of July holiday proved to be a strong promotional period for avocados nationwide, with nearly 53 million avocado units sold across the U.S. during the holiday week — a 10% increase compared to the prior year. Promotions drove 91% of the sales growth, with the greatest promotional performance in markets where California avocados were carried.
