The Restore Grant, which provides up to $25,000 in funding for implementing conservation management practices, has been reopened by Zero Footprint. The grant focuses on practices that build up healthy soil and sequester carbon such as use of cover crops, mulching, hedgerow planting, range planting and prescribed grazing.

Verticillium Wilt (or Collapse) is caused by Verticillium dahliae, which can be present in the soil for years and spread through organic matter or soil that is moved elsewhere. The fungal infection can lead to a tree’s leaves can suddenly turn brown and die. Brown and gray-brown streaks also may be present on the trunk.
