Growers Encouraged to Complete California Research and Innovation Roadmap Survey

The University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources’ California Research and Innovation Roadmap is provided to new academics as part of their onboarding process and guides research, programming and investment across the state. The report relies on data from California producers, helping to identify which problems cost growers the most in four key areas: water and soil management; pest management; automation and technology; and biomass.

California avocado growers are encouraged to complete the online survey. The survey takes 10-12 minutes, growers can skip questions and answers remain confidential. The survey covers high-level priorities and specifics, including which commodities face which specific problems and the costs associated with those challenges.
