The California Avocado Society’s last avocado grower seminar of the year is entitled, “GEM vs. Hass.” The seminar will take place in person from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the San Diego Farm Bureau Office located at 420 South Broadway in Escondido.
The seminar will include the following presentations:
- All About GEM Avocados in Europe — Aurelie Lamotte, Customer Development Manager Europe, Westfalia Fruit
- GEM Avocados Marketing and Growing in the U.S. — Keith Blanchard and Gerardo Aldunate, Index Fresh
- Use of Pollinizers in GEM Avocados — Kamille Garcia, Brokaw Nursery
