San Diego Farm and Nursery Expo to be Held in November

The San Diego County Farm Bureau is hosting the free San Diego Farm and Nursery Expo on November 10 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The event provides members of the agricultural industry with the opportunity to network with other farmers and vendors, attend a range of seminars and learn about beneficial programs.

Seminar topics of interest to California avocado growers include:

• Top 10 Pesticide Laws and Regulations Violations
• Invasive Pest Updates
• UCCE Small Farms Research, Technical Assistance and Staffing Update
• The Magnitude of Managing Water

The event will close with a social hour from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. The Expo will take place at the California Center for the Arts, located at 340 N Escondido Blvd., Escondido, CA.
