The CDFA Announces Reed Avocado Release Dates for the 2024/2025 Season

On May 22, the California Department of Food and Agriculture’s Avocado Inspection Program announced the Reed avocado release dates for the 2024/2025 season.

The release dates for the Reed variety are as follows:

  • Size 28: 5/25/24
  • Size 32: 6/1/24
  • Size 36: 6/8/24
  • Size 40: 6/15/24
  • 48 and smaller: 6/22/24
