2025 California Avocado Acreage Report Available Online

The latest Statewide Avocado Acreage and Condition Analysis report, compiled by Land IQ on behalf of the California Avocado Commission, is now available online. The data in the report assists CAC in making budgeting and marketing decisions and provides industry members with spatial data concerning crop type, location, condition and density. 

Highlights include:

  • An increase of nearly 1,800 planted acres for a total of 55,484 planted acres
  • The main avocado growing counties remain Ventura (41%), San Diego (26%), Santa Barbara (12%), Riverside (9%) and San Luis Obispo (8%)
  • The majority of California avocado acres (56%) are 20 years or younger
