CDFA Announces Reed Avocado 2023/2024 Release Dates

On May 26, the California Department of Food and Agriculture’s Avocado Inspection Program announced the Reed avocado release dates for the 2023/2024 season.

The release dates for the Reed variety are as follows:

  • Size 28: 5/25/23
  • Size 32: 6/1/23
  • Size 36: 6/8/23
  • Size 40: 6/15/23
  • 48 and smaller: 6/22/23
