Growers Encouraged to Attend Meeting or Provide Comment on Proposed San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board Order

The San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board is holding a meeting on April 10 at 9:00 a.m. to discuss the proposed changes to existing waste discharge requirements noted in the proposed Tentative Order No. R9-2024-0029. In-person and virtual attendees will have the opportunity to provide commentary concerning the tentative order.

The in-person meeting will be held at the Rancho California Water District, 42135 Winchester Road, Temecula, CA. Growers who prefer to attend virtually can do so via Zoom by completing an online form.

Growers also may provide written public comment by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024. Comments may be sent and addressed to the California Regional Water Quality Control Board — San Diego Region, 2375 Northside Drive, Suite 100, San Diego, CA, 92108-2700, ATTN: Abigail Pashina. Comments also may be emailed to [email protected]. The subject line of the email must include: “Comment — Tentative Order No. R9-2024-0029.
