In order to keep targeted consumers engaged with the brand, the California Avocado Commission provided consumers with compelling content that would encourage them to look for California avocados in season.
Due to COVID-19, for the first time in seven decades the Produce Marketing Association Fresh Summit was held virtually, with attendees from 64 countries flocking to the virtual event, which played host to 31 speakers, showcased more than 21 hours of educational content and drew more than 360 exhibitors. The California Avocado Commission participated and sponsored the virtual summit, thereby maintaining a strong presence in front of retail buyers and other industry members.
