Ventura County Seeks Agricultural Employers For Small Group COVID-19 Employee Vaccination Clinics

At this time, it is still unclear when COVID vaccination eligibility will be expanded to the agricultural workforce as Ventura County continues to focus its efforts on vaccinating people over the age of 65. However, the county is currently conducting small-scale pilot programs to vaccinate workers at agricultural sites in order to assess any logistical challenges that may arise once the vaccination program expands.

Since 2018, the recipe section of has received an average of 500,000 visitors annually — providing consumers with on-trend California avocado recipes that suit a wide range of dietary lifestyles and inspire them to incorporate the fruit in snacks and meals throughout the day. During the most recent refresh of the consumer website, the Commission began an effort to improve the recipe section by removing old recipes, updating existent recipes and optimizing the user experience.
