The San Diego chapter of CAPCA is hosting a Vertebrate Pest Control Seminar that will cover the following topics of interest to California avocado growers:

  • Laws and regulations updates concerning restricted use and second generation anti-coagulant pesticides
  • Rodenticide use
  • Integrated approaches to managing pocket gophers, voles and rabbits
  • Managing bird damage
  • Ground squirrel and tree squirrel management
  • Urban trapping and shooting wildlife
  • Disease exposure for wildlife management professionals
  • IPM principals applied to rodent control

The registration fee is $80 if purchased by September 6 or $90 at the door.
