Webinar to Address Climate Smart Agriculture in Semi-arid Areas
The California Department of Food and Agriculture’s Office of Environmental Farming and Innovation is hosting a free webinar entitled, “Adaptation of Climate Smart Agriculture in Semi-arid Areas.” Webinar discussions will be led by experts from California and Israel who specialize in policies and strategies useful to farmers in semi-arid climates.
Interested parties can choose to attend the April 20 webinar from 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Online registration for the climate smart webinar is now available.
Topics will include:
- Agricultural production strategies/initiatives
- Farmer/grower led solutions
- Opportunities for collaboration
Discussions will focus on both the Israeli and California perspective and are designed to encourage collaboration and the sharing of ideas between experts, farmers and growers from both Israel and California.
