USDA Extends Expiration Date of Auditees with Current Certifications

  • Apr 03, 2020

In order to concentrate its resources on providing food safety verification audits for producers new to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) audit programs, the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is extending the expiration date of USDA audit certifications scheduled to expire May 31, 2020 by 60 days. The extension applies to current auditees certified under the USDA Good Agriculture Practices, Domestic Origin Verification and Plant Systems Audit programs.

AMS is contacting auditees eligible for the 60-day extension and will update its webpages to reflect these changes.
